R/Shiny Developer

• Developing and implementing solutions in research and production environments
• Working in multidisciplinary teams (developers, bioinformaticians, and data scientists)
• Working closely with Ardigen’s US and EU-based customers

• Master's degree in bioinformatics, data science, statistical modeling, software engineering, or a related field

• Strong development skills and 2 – 3 years of experience writing code and libraries/modules in R or Python for data analysis
• 2 – 4 years of experience developing production-grade tools and applications with web-application frameworks such as Shiny, Flask, Django, etc.
• Superior communication skills, ability to describe complex concepts in a clear and concise manner
• Proficiency in English
• Experience working with ggplot, Tidyverse, Plotly as well as PostgreSQL, Git, and Docker

• PhD degree

• Experience working with bioinformatic tools and data types

• Experience with Agile development processes – SCRUM, Kanban, etc.

• Knowledge of Javascript and CSS
