We are looking for one Graduate computer scientist (m/f/d), Computer scientist (m/f/d) (FH / Master), Graduate in business informatics (m/f/d) or Business information scientist (FH / Master) or specialist with comparable qualifications for the management of the digitization department We are looking for a committed and responsible person to head our digitization unit (m/f/d) at the Nuremberg Regional Labour Court. The Digitization Office is responsible for the strategic planning and implementation of innovative digitization projects in order to modernize court operations and make them more efficient. In this way, they actively contribute to the modernization and digital transformation of the Bavarian labour courts.

About us: In Bavaria, there are a total of 11 labor courts with 11 external chambers and two regional labor courts. We are responsible for disputes relating to working life and have handled more than 45,000 cases per year in recent years.

Since the nationwide introduction of e-files at the end of 2024, new cases have been processed exclusively electronically. This raises a wide range of questions, particularly in connection with the further development of the e-file and the supporting systems. The Nuremberg Regional Labor Court, together with the Munich Regional Labor Court, is responsible for the entire IT infrastructure for around 500 employees at 22 locations throughout Bavaria.

Your tasks as head of the digitization office: Development and implementation of a comprehensive digitalization strategy and associated digitalization projects for the Bavarian labour courts This includes:

Creating the project assignments Initialization and implementation of the respective project plan Project administration, i.e. Project documentation and reporting Controlling and management of the project budget Organization of meetings with the project participants Preparation of reports and presentations Analysis and optimization of processes in connection with digitalization in close contact with judges, judicial officers and employees of the service units in particular Intensive cooperation with the central ICT office at the Nuremberg Regional Labour Court and the ICT office at the Munich Regional Labour Court, which support our ongoing IT operations Training and support for employees on digital issues Collaboration with external partners and specialist departments to achieve digitalization goals Supporting the court management in all matters relating to digitalization You bring with you: You have completed your studies (Diploma [FH] / Master's / Bachelor's) in computer science or business informatics or a comparable qualification and have a broad range of IT knowledge (or the willingness to acquire missing knowledge), ideally also in the areas of project management and digitization.

It would be an advantage if you have experience in managing functional or work areas and advanced knowledge of digitization, IT management and project management. In addition to analytical thinking skills as well as conceptual and independent solution-oriented work, we would like you to be service-oriented, have organizational and negotiating skills, persuasiveness and assertiveness. You are interested in a responsible and varied job, have a high level of social competence and are willing to work in a team-oriented, communicative and trusting manner.
